SCOPE was designated by UNICEF, New Delhi for dissemination of ECOSAN knowledge and training of masons in all states in India. So far training programmes have been conducted by SCOPE in Maharashtra, Jharkhand, Bihar, Andhra Pradesh, Orissa, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal.

These training programmes are organized by the UNICEF or Plan international in colloboration with the NGOs in respective states. During the training a few Ecosan toilets are constructed under supervision of SCOPE Masons and Supervisors. So far about 300 Ecosan toilets have been built through SCOPE training programmes in the above mentioned states.
